My Opinion about "Academic Dress"
Honestly I don't think that you should be able to tell high school kids what to wear to school. When you are in high school it is all about being an individual and part of that is being able to wear your style of clothing. If you are following the current dress code and your outfit is not inappropriate than I do not understand what the problem is. This "Academic Dress" will not make students act better, or make them get to school on time. This is just your way of trying to make our school look alot better than it really is. I really don't care about the "Academic Dress" because I am graduating this year, but I can definately see why every high school student here would be really mad! It is not fair for you to tell high school students, some of whom are 17, 18, even 19 years old. Everyone here is close to being an adult, if they aren't already. I don't think that "Academic Dress" is cheaper either, because now you have to buy all new clothes just for school. Is the school going to pay the cost for everyone here to buy all of this clothing? What is the point? This in my opinion will create more problems than you think. Not only will there be more students out of school, but it will make some students more angry to be here. If there is only one way that you can dress coming to school, then there is going to be alot of students not following this and they will be sent home and possibly suspended. Is that your goal? Do you want to have half the school out because they didn't wear a belt one day, or didn't wear the right color shirt? Are you serious? It is not a good idea, but again that is just my opinion. Sorry underclassmen it sucks for you and I do feel bad for you!!

BLOG ABOUT IT!!!!
Everyone should blog about their feelings.......it helps release anger!! hahahahaha but seriously though......BLOG ABOUT IT!!
Spending Billions in Space....Is it right?
Spending Billions in Space… Is it right?
I would like you to take a minute and think about the billions of dollars that is spent per year to explore space. The actual NASA budget in 2007 was $16.7 billion dollars!! Why is the government wasting that much money a year to explore outer space? There is absolutely no reason for the government to spend that type of money on space when it is not helping us here on earth at all!
When you look at the facts of space exploration, you have to scratch your head and think, what the heck are we doing? NASA spends billions of dollars each year to explore space. They spend hundreds of millions of dollars on just one trip to space, which does what for us here on earth? Honestly in my opinion this money can be spent on much better things, not space!
Let’s think about how terrible our economy is… Now that you thought about it, think about the NASA budget one more time, 16.7 billion dollars a year! Now I’m not saying that if we weren’t using this money for space things would be good, but I am saying that it would help to spend it elsewhere. The government has been using “bail out plans” to help try to save the economy, well why not use NASA money to help? At least then we would know that the wasteful 16 billion dollars would go towards something useful!
Now let’s think about another option to using $16,000,000,000: OUR SCHOOLS! When you take a look at how many schools across the U.S have to cut spending to balance their budget it is sad. You look at the fact that some public schools have to cut sports teams because they cannot afford to pay for that athletic program. If the government was wasting $16 billion dollars of U.S tax dollars then we could possibly have a better school system. Seriously it doesn’t take a genius to realize that this NASA money is a WASTE!
Again, just to look at another way of spending 16 BILLION DOLLARS would be to spend it on sending kids to college! The NASA budget wouldn’t cover every young kid going to college, but it sure could help create a lot of new grants to give out some money! Mostly every senior in high school is stuck knowing that if they go to college they will most likely be in debt for a big part of life. Think about what the government could do with an extra 16 billion. So many new college grants and scholarships could be made to help young adults get to college without debt!
Now that you have taken a minute and thought of how the government wastes your tax dollars on space, think again if you agree with NASA. There is no way that any logical person could think that spending 16 billion dollars on space is worth it, especially when you look at how things are going here on EARTH! There is no reason at all to think about space, we need to think about making earth better to live on. We need to be spending that money in the U.S, not on Mars, or anything else outside of our country! We don’t need to know anything about what goes on in the rest of the solar system, because we live HERE! If you still agree with NASA, fine, that’s your opinion. However if you agree with NASA, please don’t complain about where this country is headed, thank you!
NO! It is not right to spend taxes on space!!

Conneaut...
So last night at Conneaut I almost got thrown out for being loud.....literally. I was cheering loud at the JV game last night and this lady that worked there told me to quiet down or else I'm gonna be thrown out.. I was really irritated after that.. I was like "Oh really, so now a days we not even allowed to cheer at basketball games?" There was some conneaut students sitting on our side so I also said, "Since you're going by the book, these people should be sitting on their own side!" So the whole rest of the night i kept running my mouth to the students and this lady, hahahaha.. it was kinda funny, you should of been there. But after an ugly game, Harvey was victorious AGAIN! they won 63-58! Go RAIDERS!
